With all the great reviews, i have been wanting to try this cafe for sometime now. We finally had a chance. I love the modern/contemporary theme, it's clean and sleek. There are many food and bakery options. I was hoping for a a few more coffee syrup options, but I went wth my go to a caramel latte and hubby had the same. We chose to eat in. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We received our food items well before our coffee which was a bit odd. The server asked if there was anything else and we told her our coffee. They came out quickly after that. The flavor was amazing. As far as the taste, one of the best roasts I've had. The baked blueberry oatmeal with steamed milk was amazing and hubby enjoyed his sandwich but did say the egg was cool, so I am only speculating they heat it up as you order. Location is perfect. Parking on street or as we did in the garage just a block away. There are many places to walk to as well as the Central Market. Definitely a place to try and we will be back.

Cute and clean place in downtown York. The service is fast and friendly. The food and coffee here was good. I enjoyed the coffee more than I did the food. It can get loud in the cafe when it starts getting busy but nothing that ruins the dining experience. Overall, great place!

Cool place to grab coffee, a quick bite and meeting up with your friends. Every city has this type of cafe but I would recommend stopping in when visiting York. Nothing unique on the menu that makes them stand out from the crowd. Just an inviting environment with great customer service.

Finally had the chance to try the Prince Street Cafe in York. Walking in, I was immediately charmed. The brightness and clean, contemporary feel was fresh and all the plants so welcoming. The wait staff, on the other hand, were NOT welcoming. When we placed our order, we were made to feel like we were a complete bother. We ordered the Southwestern Chicken Burrito, the Herb Ricotta veggie bowl, and an orange juice. The food was SO Good, but we never got the oj. Asked twice, still never got it. We really wanted to try the muffins, but neither of us wanted to deal with the wait staff at the counter so we left without trying the pastries. Sadly, we had already added a nice tip to our order, which wasn't earned, but rather just given out of respect. I would recommend the food but don't go in expecting great service if this particular staff person is working. She was NOT customer-friendly at all. We probably won't be back as no one likes to feel like they are a bother. We'll stick with the Hive in Dover, or go back to Prince St Cafe in Lancaster.
